I listen to pass the time and see what "they" say the fish are biting on, besides bait. But remember that 10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish. You can listen all ya want, but if ya don't leave the couch, don't expect to learn how to catch 'em! Been listening since Pappy and Bob Jr and I think Mickey is a fisherman with a radio show, pure and simple. Kinda hard to change format of a fishing show without getting a bunch of gibberish on the air...

True...like I said, I have no idea what...maybe format was a poor choice of words. It is what it is...eventually Mickey and Benny will get tired of it, and someone else will take over and then we'll gripe about that person!

This is my take on the subject. Technique and lure of choise is a personel preferance. Hotspots are on a map in Academy and gps coordinates is 007 top secret... Do you want Capt. Micky to catch your fish for you? You should be using this time to hone your fishing skills instead of talking **** about a am radio show that you made the decision to listen to??? WTF dude the is what it is tune in or tune out. over & out

I have a Mike story that isn't hilalarious and I'll just leave it at that! The show is so so for me. I listen from time to time, and Mickey is good enough, but it needs a format change or something(although I have no clue what). And... I agree with Greg...give me some AC/DC blasting and that'll get me jacked and more fish than the info I take from the show!

I don't listen too often, but the times I have I was fine with Captain Micky. I do miss the old days with the Sephensons though and also think its ok for someone to make a post about not caring for the show.
