  • Going Tomorrow, Need Advice on Weather/Tides/ Would you or Would'nt you go?

My brother and I (Gus12343) are itching to fish, we went last Sunday but too much wind. Only snagged one Trout on a plastic (5 kroker, 2 hard heads, small red, small flounder). Im taking tomorrow off to fish - my borther is a new owner of a Kayak and we will be hauling that down as well. We fish around the harborwalk cut and the back grass flats of jones bay.... ill be wading....my question basically is what do yall think of tomorrow’s conditions? Any eyes down there...? Should we skip the bay and try the surf?.....Your THoughts? Any one else Fishn tomorrow?!

    Thanks FWE !

Avoid the surf; it's a mess. The wind shouldn't be too bad. The highest it should be is around 13-14 mph midday. I'd stick to the bays and enjoy yourself.

Good luck tomorrow. I was thinking about heading down as well, but it was brought to my attention by my better half that the yard could use as much attention as the fish I don't catch. While that argument doesn't always deter me, my buddy had to bail thus leaving me to front an entire gas bill. Even if I was to ignore those facts, I look like a weirdo on a 2 man yak by myself. Perhaps I don't look that weird, but how does one catch fish when one does not look his best?

I was down last week and got a few hits with a gold spoon on some south shorline. Couldn't buy a bite with popping cork. Only had an hour or so to fish though.
