The style is MAYA. they have a few diff styles that do it.
I have 5 or 6 pair and will never own another brand of glasses. Yes they are not cheap but if you fish with a 200 dollar reel and 300 dollar rod you should have a good pair of glasses. IMHO after that rod and reel they are the most important item you have. If not to see what you are missing at least to give your eyes the best protection they need, Walmart and Academy glasses do neither. Gater

I knew a guy once named Bobby Goodeye......

Bruce if I was getting eye surgery, it would be lens replacement.

Costa 580 glass lenses are fine if you don't need a Rx, then they're too heavy. I'm sure Costa's are fine glasses. Did they ever figure out how to keep the rubber parts from falling off? That seems to have been one major knock on the brand. that and some warranty issues.
I personally like the price, service, fit, warranty and quality of Smith Optics for my bifocals.
Haaaa....I had Vaurnets..but that was 1982....okay, how many here were actually still in diapers in 82? Nowadays....it's mostly Costa, and Maui Jims.

I agree with "pieman", $25 SK or Spider Wire in a blue lens works great, have been using them for years. Tried those darn "Gay Bans", way too heavy and do not snug to your face. Had some Eagle Eye's once, they were great till I dropped them off Clearwater beach....You get what you pay for, in some ways. Anything over $50 for a pair of shades is nuts IMO.....just sayin.....

I have a pair of $20 glass' from Academy (Bill Dance) and they work pretty good (used for lawn mowing and skeet shooting). I have a pair of Costa's that I fish with since I don't mind banging them around (five years old). I have a pair of Ono's that I use for my motorcycle since they are amber and work good under low light. But I have a pair of Maui Jim's that really prefer since they are light as a feather, fit perfect and have no distortion (my styling glass').

I hate wearing glasses of any kind. Seems like wearing beer goggles and they pester me to no end. But let me tell ya something ... when we was kids, nobody wore glasses and over the years I have seriously worn those suckers down because of sun exposure. Yup, the eyes are going and I need glasses like it says on the driver's license.

For a whileI could get by with my driving glasses and a pair of Costas, since I was tired of sunburning my eyeballs. The regular glasses actually cause MORE burn, found that out the hard way. Cheap sunglasses without the UV protection, same way - it opens up your pupils to let more damaging sunlight in!

So now I need prescription sunglasses for fishing. Any ideas who has the best deal? I hesitated to buy prescription sunglasses at Wal-Mart, just didn't seem "right."

Yeah, between surfing and fishing the last 45 years, the UV damage to my eyes is fairly significant, or so the eye doc says. I think offshore is absolutely the hardest on your eyes.

Sunglass saga is over for me. Went to the sunglass hut to buy my wife her Maui Jims for Mothers Day. While there I was hunting and pecking in the sales bin and found a pair of $209.00 polorized Revos that were mark down 50% due to a imperfection on the frame. Actually there was a blemish in the color on the frame you had to look hard to find. These guys were then marked down 30%. I bought them for 65 bucks.

I am not to proud to wear these glasses and they look and feel great and the glass is pretty dang clear. Thanks for all the advice.

I love my WileyX. Half the price of Costas. You can get them locally in Friendswood.
