That's just a swarm. They probably won't stay.

If they set up shop, don't kill them. I'll give you the bee keeper's name I used. - Sandy

I'm a bee keeper too. I'll take them. But they will only stay there for a couple days and move on. They should be gone by now.

Be glad they aint Obama's entitlement folks-they'd never leave and attack you for food and money, but never a job.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

you got honey? You should have told me and I would have traded some gs cookies for some honey.

You're on for a trade, next year.

I'm building up brood now. Depending on how they do this summer, there may be surplus.

You can come over and help harvest in the fall (it's hard work).

They're all female, too. I'll get in trouble, if I say what I was about to say...

No bees to deal with. After the honey combs are removed, they are processed, that's the hard work.
Your girl scouts can show you how it's done. It'll build up your confidence.

I wish I'd have known you were a bee keeper Mark. I just paid $400 to have a hive removed from Blockade Runners.

BTW guys, you should NEVER kill the bees. Someone will always take them and killing them leads to worse problems than you thought you had.

If the swarm or hive is not inside a wall or in an attic, many hobbyist beekeepers will come out for free. The county extension office will have a swarm contact list of who to contact. You can also google the local beekeeper society and ask for their swarm list.

If they're in a wall, Coachlaw is right. They and the combs need to be completely removed, otherwise other creatures will raid the combs. And poisoning the bees will spread the poison to other hives.
