Dog Painter To The Stars....

Well, I haven't painted anything vaguely representational in maybe 30 years, but I told my nephew & his wife that I would do a painting for their new place in the Heights. I decided to do a portrait of their "baby" Charlie the Schnoodle.
The frame is a piece of oak chateau moulding maybe 200 years old.
It was harder that I thought it would be and took about 8 hours to finish.

I think we have another Rembrandt here, or possibly Matisse ....Very nice work Kenny. I work with wood myself, building custom kitchen cabinet doors & drawer fronts. I like the clean lines of your choice of wood, the color accents the painting. Very well done Sir.
