Save for recent issues with the new and "improved" channel at the launch, I've never been stuck once . . . . except for one time when Monte was in MY BOAT! It was about 2am and I was running into Titlum-Tatlum. He shined the dad gum spotlight in my eyes. Blinded, I missed my turn in in the bayou and ran up on the bank. Monte flew off the gunwale and did a quintuple flip with a twist into the prairie before popping up like a circus performer. I was waiting for him to say "Ta DAAAAH!" I was darn glad to see him still alive, if a little damp. Monte is just a great story sitting there waiting to happen.
