  • Power Providers?

Man I almost hate to ask this... Who do you guys use / suggest for the lowest rate on home power providers? I have reliant and my contract has just expired. Called em and they offered me 12.2 cents for a year. I dont want to join and pyramid / ponzi schemes or forfeit my first born or have to sell anything to anybody. Just want a decent rate on power for at least a year long contract. Same rate all year - no changing after 3 months etc..etc..

Last time I called reliant back after shopping around and they beat the price I found - not sure if it'll pan out that way again but I like to keep my options open.

I don't even know how much I pay per KWH. I'm with First Choice here in Angleton. My bill ranges from about $50 in the Winter to $125 in the Summer. I keep my thermostat at 70 in the Winter and 78 in the Summer. I might splurge a degree or 2 when I'm feeling luxuriant. Now at the camp, I've worked it out that I pay $27 a night for electricity. Sure is cheaper when someone else makes the electricity for me.
