  • Anyone make shallow water anchor pins?

    Does anyone on her build 8' shallow water anchoring sticks/pins? Thanks

    You can make one out of pvc... but there are some benefits of the real product from stick it. It's lighter, has a handle, doesn't collect mud inside the tube...which then later gets all over your boat etc. .. but yeah, you can use pvc... 1.5" works ok. Cut the end on an angle.

      You can buy 3/4" solid fiberglass rods and glue a PVC "T" with end caps on one end., drill a hole through the rod below that and get a clevis pin shackle.
