I'm stuck at san bernard-please help!!!

Took boat out for the first time to the San Bernard and got stuck a sandbar near the mouth of the river. I'd have no problem if tilt for motor was working. I'm right around the bend from where the river meets the icw. I don't know what or if anything can be done but I could sure use some help if possible. My number is 979-236-6050. Thanks

Are you still there?? If so there are people we can call to come get you. Pretty sure willyp mentioned an organization that does this when someone else was stuck a while back.

Im home now. Thanks for the offer GC13 and Ibtsoom. I ended calling the coast guard because my battery also died and we were both soaked and it was starting to cool off. they put us in contact with the organization you mentioned. And now a HUGE thank you to the Gulf Coast Rescue Squad. They came and pulled us off and then gave me a jump, followed my back to the boat ramp and then even helped me get my boat back on my trailer because it was dark and it was only my second time to put a boat on a trailer. I gotta say, these guys were true class acts. The organization is non-profit and i didnt get charged a cent but they will be getting a donation from me. glad to know that there still people out there that will stop what they are doing and go help a person in need at a moments notice. glad to home, yall have a wonderful night.
