  • Need advice to put some kids on some fish...

I've got my in-laws in town for the holiday weekend, and I'm taking my wife's 12 and 10 year old brothers out tomorrow. My plan was to launch at Sea Isle (first time down there) and head east along the south shoreline with a quart of shrimp.

Was thinking of drifting through those coves, hoping to find fish somewhere between the back end, and the mouth.

Does this sound like a decent plan? I'm still a newb on the whole inshore thing, and not really sure if I can expect to see fish in that part of the bay with the water temps we have?

    Got any backup plans?

As long as you've got popping corks, shrimp is likely to catch something around there.

Yeah, I would like to hit that area some, but am a little nervous about running across the bay in that area. Need a bigger boat.

How big of a boat do you have?

Chocolate sounds like a plan. Need some different water, I've pretty much fished out my best spots and need to let them recover. call me Superspook.
