The rat reds were dominating the bite this evening. I was tossing 2 inch Gulp! new penny shrimp along the edge of grass/mud/shell from the mouth of highland bayou leading into Jones to the railroad bridge at Bayou Vista. The tide was ripping in all evening, so it was damn hard to fish slow enough to keep the bait on the bottom. I was really trying to find the flounder.
On my way back in, I got a few dozen shots of the sunset and I couldn't decide which one was the best, but this is one of them.
