2/23 report

Got out at 1:30 today and found some clear water and calm winds. Been sitting growing mold for a week so I had to go. Ended up with my personal best ever of 28-1/2" trout, 7 over 20", 9 between 16" and 19" for a total of 17 (didn't count the dinks). Also had 6 keeper reds and a few smallies. All released but I planted a wet one on the big trout and told her I'd see her again when she was 30" (still waiting for that one.) Out of the water by 5:00. Going again in the morning. Report later. Probably won't get a bite.
Turned a guy I met at the dock onto the site.

Like those two days in a row we slayed 'em Don. They were in the same general area. Looks like the all next week will be windy so drifting is gonna be tough. Maybe we can hit a protected shoreline in Boliver and wade. May have to trailer the boat across the ferry to Trinity area.
