  • Dance hall suggestions Southwest

Before our move to Missouri City, and me going a few rounds with "the big C", the wife and I used to go dancing quite a lot. Feeling well enough now to give it a try again, but I have no ideas on where... Doesn't have to be fancy, but good dance floor, live bands, not too far and not too rough or wild. Any suggestions?

    TIA
    Bill

I'm looking, too. Nowhere to go since Eddie's burned. Man, I miss that place!

Kick's sounds okay, but 37 miles from the house is a bit far, especially if the beer starts a flowing!

Firehouse Saloon or Armadillo Palace. I like Moe's, and know him well since used to work for my dad but, damn that is a long drive home.

Armadillo looks good, but - man - that's a long drive back from there.

Eddie's had a special feel to it that the new fancy places can't come close to. Eddie's was a family place - bring the kids - and always felt at home. Fantastic country music bands. Mrs. Eddie with her foot-long flashlight calling out birthdays.
