Headed to Mobile Alabama

Business is good so it's time to grow. I decided to step up and be the one to go to Mobile to open our newest location. Found a shop in Theodore that will work well for the first year. I head east the 1st of next month to set up the shop, staff the branch and get the customer base established. Hope to keep it to a 4-6 month project but who knows. If all goes smooth then on to Panama City and then back to Texas to Corpus Chrisri. I will be back as much as possible and will be logged in here often to get my FWE fix. I hope to take my boat sometime in March to test Mobile Bay and see how that area is. Look forward to seeing all of the fishing reports to remind me what I'll be missing out on and catch up with everyone when I can.

Leaving the week after next but have plans to come back week of March 7-15 for the boat. CYA y'all soon.

I may have hit gold in Alabama for a place to stay. Bay house on the water on Dauphin Island is open for rent. Furnished, boat dock, everything a fisherman could want and only 25 minutes from the new shop. I go Saturday to look at it but from the pictures it looks great. The best part is it is $1000 a month cheaper than a hotel. 3 bedroom furnished for $1400 per month all utilities paid with a month to month lease available.

Awesome! Spent many summers there as a youngster. Roaming around Ft. Gaines and fishing the surf was awesome. My grandfather and grandmother are buried there. RIP.
