no, you keep him cause he just signed a 4 year extension. You bring a new qb and you are admitting failure and that won't happen.

Not true. Plenty of teams out there would trade for him. Arizona, Philly, Jets, Miami, Jags, Bills, and Browns to name a few. That would get you out of his contract, but you would have to downgrade the position or take a flyer on a late round QB draft pick and pick up Alex Smith.

until the offensive play calling changes, it isn't gonna matter who the QB is. my .02, kickin' field goals ain't gonna get it done in the long run.

I'm not comparing "cotton swaab" with those 2 cats. Schaub couldn't carry Tom's helmet. You said that "The NFL aint got no room for pocket QB's anymore." I disagree with that. Running QB's seem to have a short life in the NFL. Ask RGIII how his future looks like.

You have two QB's that are just as capable given the chance in Yates and Keenum. Gater

I'm not an NFL level mind, but I think Schaub is plenty good enough to win a Superbowl. He's a fair leader, he's an accurate passer, and he doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He's a better quarterback than most in the league. Do I think he belongs up there with Big Manning, Rodgers, or that sissy with New England I hate so much because he looks like a sissy but he's so good? I don't even think Drew Brees was ELITE this season. Little Manning has 2 Superbowl rings, but he's not in that category.

Any way you cut it, the offense yesterday scored enough points for this team to win. The defense is where the blame lies. The loss of Cushing and the eventual uncovering of weak areas by lesser teams than New England came together to make this an impossible to win game.

Any way you cut it, 28 points should be enough to win a game. Defense wins championships. 42 points given up and y'all are blaming Schaub? That's silly.
Coach I agree 28 points should be enough to win most games. However when your playing Brady or manning your offense needs to keep those guys off the field. Not converting 3rd downs and controlling the clock as they did the first half of the season is not going to cut it against those guy's. Your defense is missing three starting linebackers, one who is arguably one of the best if not the best against the run.

Schaub is the leader of the team but has dissapointed, it all comes back to the QB.

Take both the Texans and Pat's and remove the QB's and I will take the Texans any day. Put Brady on the same Texans team and Schaub on the same Pat's team and I would take the Texans. From a physical standpoint they are both the same, neither can run.
Where the difference comes in is that Brady is smarter, runs the offense, has great pocket presence, a good arm, and a quick release. He has that confident look all the time, not cocky but confident where on the other hand when Schaub goes 3 and out his expressions look like you stole his pet dog. Gater

Can't get 1st downs when it is 3rd and 10 and the call from the sidelines is for a 5 yard pass. What happened to the 15-20 year passes? Did Kevin walter even play the last 5 games? Too much WR talent to dump it off over and over with the 5 yard crap.
