Is the run from Omega to Bayou Vista a no wake zone? How long does it take to get from Omega to the ICW?

I think from the Hwy 6 bridge to the railroad bridge is a no wake zone. I don't think people observe it from what I have seen.
From the rail road bridge to the ICW should take about 5-10 minutes depending how fast you run. Gater

Past Hwy 6 to railroad,I always put on plane,Itd take forever to get any where Idleing along that far!Just sayin! watch for yackers,they be thick at times!...and a bag o chips!

There is no wake zone from six to the bridge. Homeowners don't like it but then again they always have other options until the law changes. I've never known why its not.

I try and give the homeowners a break from the wake but then the idiots pass me up and I think what's the use.

Thanks for the info. There's a possibility we could be moving to the area and I'm trying to get as much info as possible.
Anyone have any thoughts on the quality of life in Omega Bay?? I'm a little concerned about its proximity to 45 and the noise??
Any info about living around west bay full time is appreciated.

Tiki Island is awesome.But expensive.I saw a house on Tahiti for 240k yesterday. Thats about as cheap as you can find in that area. It's paradise in Tiki.
