Gonna auger some holes tomorrow and try to set my posts in the ground. Anybody that's bored is welcome to come help!!

Anybody have an auger? I was just gonna rent one at lowes.

If'n you rent the one man auger, watch that it doesn't beat up your legs and thighs as you wrestle the auger down.

I just did 14 holes for a fence a few weeks ago, first one was real easy, the rest had tree roots in the way, one hole I found power lines that did not get marked, take it slow & pull the auger out ever foot or so will make it easier.

auger?? Save your money and do it the old fashionded way with a good ol post hole digger? Great workout but dont plan on doing anything with your arms for the next 2 week after though!!! I dug six 5' deep post holes for my carport. Took a whole weekend and 1 case of beer.
