Anyone know what happened to the Texas Star Casino ship that was moored in Freeport? I heard it had been sold to some investors who plan on renovating it and operating it out of Galveston, but I wanted to know what you guys thought.

I can find out. Our plant FSO is plugged in to all the happenings around port Freeport. I remember him saying someone bought it but I thought it was going to Louisiana or Florida. Ill find out.Shut up and FISH!! -
New owner of boat and property. Old boat is gone and the new owners of the property are in process of procuring a new vessel. I can give an update on the timeline when I get to work tomorrow. My guy said he watched it clear the jetties and has no clue where it went from there -- I think I read something about it in the Brazosport FACTS when it left. I know it was having issues passing fire safety inspections and was going to be too costly to renovate.Shut up and FISH!!Comment

Alright gentlemen. I spoke with the new owner today. Waiting on funds, and it could be as soon as two weeks before they bring the new boat in. Will be some time after that at least.
