It took me almost 2 hours to clean them (between interruptons). I did realize the the knife i've been using was junk. I finally reached into the knofe drawer and pulled out an old eagle claw filet knofe I found on the beach 10 years ago. It cut better than the one I'd been using. you have to sharpen your knife after every use. cuts right through them,or know the trick.the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.
