Only $200. You should buy one and let us know how it holds up.

i use the tournament regular and the difference between them inst much cept weight and internals Lews made me swear off shimano and i have used them since july of last year with out issue good customer service and if you ever do need replacement parts they get them to you quick.

its the only brand of reel i will buy now. i also clean them my self its pretty easy.

Good link...go to Tacklewarehouse and click on casting reels, and you can go back and forth and compare between the different reels(Shimano and Lews, or others) fairly easy.

I love mine. I got the 90.00 one and it's as good a reel as I've owned, my opinion.

Finally got out and gave the new reels a try...I think I'm in love! Just hope they hold up to the abuse I plan on throwing at them. Hit Confederate/ Southshore coves in the yak...the Lews on my med/light Laguna equiped with a pink maniac mullet did fairly well for the 4 hours I was out. Found a few fish here and there, mostly over shell, but the reel handled great. Probably the smoothest reel I've casted, reeled, or had the line ripped off of. Total keepers for the day...was only 3 trout, but I hooked into many 14.5s(trout and flounder) and one 24" red that spit the hook on the grab from the yak. One trout pushed 24" and was the highlight of the day. Any event, at $140 a reel...I'm very happy!

I told you, Monte. The only thing that worries me about mine is wading the surf and all those bearings getting salted up. From the boat I,m not so concerned.

I'll buy a new one every year at $140 and still be ahead of the $360 Core game! We need to go fishing sometime Harvey!
