Well, it looks kind of like that, but PVC, not metal. Sounds like Corndog has the same kind. I'm going to call Kresta's at lunch tomorrow. Shoalwater Plug Emergency! Help!
Is it's garboard plug. Google they make them on stainless steel, brass and plastic.
Not sure if this is it but it's worth a look.

try west marine in a couple miles past Nasa to the right. They have a tone of different plugs and i have seen some threaded type there.Comment
