Water has been beautiful out here, despite the wind. Friday 2 foot visibility, Saturday down to about 8 inches. Today about a foot and a half. Never seen this much wind and the water stay so green. Many trout were slaughtered last night.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I measure visibility by dropping a lure into the water off my dock. I just did it a few minutes ago and it's just short of 2 feet right now.

As a general rule, incoming tides are clearer and outgoing tides are muddier. I'm in Titlum-Tatlum Bayou and the green water gets to me way after it gets to the bridge on the incoming tide. I am surprised that with all the wind we had yesterday it's as clear as it is today.

Well my generator crapped out!!! Dang It! The conditions were GREAT. The water was nice and the wind laying down. If you live within driving distance the pass looks great tonight.
