It sucks up a small amount of juices, but it goes into a little tray that you can empty.
Don't try to seal it when the meat is dripping with juices and blood. Wash it off, let it sit a minute and then vacuum it up. I do a whole deer and never need to empty the little tray till Im done.

Their website has some refurbrished ones for $327 (2100 - powder coated) and $335 (2300 - stainless). Not bad. Good advice, thanks!!!
I have one of their burger presses, good quality stuff. At his baptism, Sam Houston was told his sins were washed away. He reportedly replied, “I pity the fish downstream.” - Nov. 19, 1854 - Independence, Texas

Most vacuum sealer require you to freeze the fish before you seal them. This has to do with them not being able to handle the moisture of the fish fillets. I would recommend going after a vacuum sealer that is more geared towards fishing rather than one geared towards the kitchen. Here's a good article that talks more in depth and discusses options: https://outriggeroutdoors.com/blogs/...ealer-for-sale
