I have two old shakespeare reels like those wat i was told by a collector that they are only worth around $50 without the box. But they are a cool shelf peice

Collectibles, like many commodities are worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

I don't know if those are going to be collectors items but I think any reel from that era is worth holding onto. I say that only because many collectors want them in good to excellent condition. But like FISHINFREAK said they are really cool shelf pieces.
