The old wells close to Bolivar have shell pads. You work those old shell pads-usually are crowded with folks. There are many old pads in the area that the well was either a dryhole or depleted and no surface structure exists.

Look for half moon reef on your bay map... pretty good spot, 6ft of shell in 7-8 ft of water. Due South of it used to be a well.....

Just look for all the Boston Whalers and there you go. I fished them 2 weekends ago and there were atleast 8 on one spot w/a few other guides coming around too

Pick up any fishing map of the area. Gas Wells, Half Moon, Pasadena Reef, and of course the famous "Dollar Reef". Also what CarolinaSkiffin said, we saw all the boats at the Gas Wells. We couldn't get close so we just anchored about a hundred yards off them and scored some nice trout. When the trout is there, they are everywhere in the area.

If the wind levels out, I will be out there this week. Look for my Carolina Skiff 258DLV anchored up.

                See ya on the water....
