Talking about Wedding Troubles......

As most of y'all know my daughter is (hopefully) getting married on Friday. The problem is we can't find her birth certificate anywhere and see can get a marriage license without it. So we are packing to leave for Austin to get a copy then headed straight to LA and hopefully get there with enough time for her to get a license before Friday. I got a lot of money riding on this, she is getting married one way or the other....

Y'all wish me luck, and that there are no speed traps in our way....

Yan, sorry about fishin this week. We'll hook up after the wedding when I'm a free man once more.....

We made it!!!!! Got the Birth Certificate and we are now at Bret's (soon to be SIL)dad's house so I can't stay on the PC long. Will be going to the Court House bright and early in the morning. Bret's dad knows the judge (fishing buddies or something) so we are got a before the officially open appointment, so all should be well. Now that my wife has stopped freaking, maybe I can knock back a couple of cold ones and relax.

Yesterday was a good day! Finally got a chance to swap tall tales with Butch (Bret's Dad) and he would fit in good with the rest of us even if he is a coonarse.....

He has a heck of a bass pond out next to his house. It is about 2 acres and has water lillies in it just right. We hit them about 6:30 yesterday evening with SS jrs and had a blast. Caught so many I lost count and they were anywhere between half a pound all the way up to 7lbs. Did take the camera out with us, but if we get a chance to hit them again before we come back to TX I'll take some pictures.

Thank God I was finally able to get away from the nut case women or they were going to drive me to the nut house. Anyway thanks for the well wishes and I should be back on Texas soil come Sunday and all this stuff behind me..........watch out fish in West Bay!
