No need to think it's about politics . . . . because it's always about politics. If you went "blue" last election, you get a shuttle.
How come they call conservative states "Red" states? Isn't red the color of Communism? Shouldn't the so called blue states be red instead?

I was lucky enough to be up on the roof of the plant and got to watch the shuttle take it's tour of Houston. It was really awesome to see.
