I had the same thing about two months ago and they started rushing me around in ambulances and such. Turned out to be diverticulitis and I was out of there in 3 days.

It is not life threatning, just a possible future surgery and a strict diet.

You will be fine and Prayers are coming. Let me know if you need anything at all.

Diverticulitis isn't any fun, but it beats the heck out of cancer. Our prayers are with you buddy.

Just got the call, Going for Biopcy Thursday Morning. It will be good, I had similar scare about 6 years ago on the Testicular Cancer, and the Biopcy came out Negative. Same place they are seeing on the CT Scan. God is on my side, no worries!

Releasing me now and will be getting a call to go back in after a specialist reviews the CT. I'm sure I spelled every medical word wrong!
The inguinal hernia (tear) is soft tissue like intestine coming through a weak stomach muscle. The diverticulitis is a bulge in the colon
through a weak spot in the muscle surrounding the lower intestine, of course usually it's also familial and your inherit it.
