I am thinking about setting up the lights tonight at the Pass. Does anyone know what the water at the Pass looks like today? I read another post about desd shad everywhere in that area also. Just looking for feed back about that area before I drive down there.
    Thanks

North of the bridge it looked nice, south of the bridge it was okay and became worse the more you headed towards the beach.

        Gulfside - rough
Bayside - off color, pretty calm

winds out of the south about 5-8, didn't see any dead shad...

The ultimate pot licking, the guys walking up and down the beach picking up dead shad and freezing it for later...POW!

              Thanks Everyone.
After reading more about the dead shad everywhere we headed to Texas City. The gate at Moses Lake was closed so we set up the lights at the end of the Dike. We ended up with 24 nice Specs and couple big ole Sandys. The one strange is the little Gaftops that were hitting our baits. We were using 3 inch soft plastics and the Gaftops were about the same size. We must have got fifty of them. I have never caught so many small fish using soft shad like that. They were just big enought to fin the Snot out of you.
Thanks for the advice it helped to find the fish!!!!!
