Heck ya Duane! Always man! Manvels my old stomping grounds. Wicks lumber, the old green Manvel Food Market with the oriental owners, La Casita(loved that place) Dilly Burger, no high school, no EC Mason. Highway 6 being a 2 lane highway. Lots changed in 34 years. Dam bro we getting OLD! I still remember you guys kicking our asses in teeball. Lost every single game hahaha.

ITSBOOM, that is the most genuine smile ever. That trip was AMAZING! I had such a blast. Trip of a lifetime that is for sure. Fishing the backwater was always a dream of mine. You made that become a reality and I could never thank you enough.

Thanks again to everyone and the kind words. Being a couple of years out from the experience, it is nice to look back on what has been accomplished. I can't thank you guys, my WestendAnglers family enough.

The city I live in up here is Groton. Electric Boat is here and they make submarines for the Navy. It's not uncommon to see them going up and down the Thames River. It is such a cool site to see them. They actually move pretty darn fast too! I was surprised when I first saw them. We are so blessed and have a beautiful view of the river from our front porch. God has really blessed me. There is also a really cool Revolutionary War battlefield within walking distance. A couple of the pics I posted are from it. The battle there was really interesting.
