To keep bringing up the fact that some people dont want this spot mention will only add to the frenzy. Makes me wonder why it is so coveted. SIC has many different areas of it that produce better than others at different times. Funny that no one went ape sheet when a near 8lb speck was posted with backgrond and was on the home page. Having said all this yes a general description is usaully adequate for most anglers to pick up on whats up. If some one gives up a spot I just dont bring it up so the fever dies down sooner. Most anglers are creatures of habit and fish where they have caught fish before. Even if someone hones in on a spot from a post they typcally dont fish that much and will not be on that spot. See earlier statement about creatures of habit. Having been a site memebr and participant for several years I will say this there is no need for a public shaming for someones post. Its a free country and a new member oftens learn as they go. I never have seen a shanming for someone that is looking for a buddy to fish Sportsmens rd or seawolf park. If anyone disagrees or takes umbrage to my comments just PM me and we can discuss.You can also PM the person that started this post and explain your point in private versus making them not feel welcomed to this site. You guys that fish alot and know how to catch fish should not even be commenting in this manner it will never effect you. Good luck to all

Hey good point. I should have pointed out in my previous post that a spot that someone can walk into or get there by a short paddle in a yak in always gonna be posted more. Giving up a spot that is only by boat is certainly more "taboo" to most.
