  • Out of fishing for the year

Hi all... going to be out of the fishing scene for rest of the year. After becoming very ill and 2 1/2 weeks in hospital for rocky mountain spotted fever. Its going to take rest of year to recoup and heal if totally heal up. It really kicked my fanny and wasnt kind to me. So will be reading and wishing i was fishing. Will see yall next year i hope. Still sale pens so if anyone wants a handmade pen give me a shout.

Damn, dude....I went through that a couple of years ago. Did you catch it in Texas or up in one of the northern states? I was told the Texas strain is a little milder, but of course everyone's immune system is different. This the MFer that got me http://eol.org/pages/514923/overview

I was covered in ticks on my first ever dove hunt. A week and a half later it hit me like a Mack truck hauling a ton of bricks. Three different types of antibiotics and HUGE bowl of Grand-Ma's chicken soup got me back on my feet again.

Let me know if you would like a big-o-bowl of my chicken soup. I will gladly hook you up http://www.fishwestend.com/forum/thr...-and-Rice-Soup

                        Take care of yourself James!!!!!
