7/6: Stock Pond Perch Jerking

My oldest son (11yo) has a good friend who had never been fishing. I volunteered to take him. I planned on running down to the coast but my son wanted to take him perch jerking - so I did.


FFBA (Future Fishing Buddies of America - West End Chapter)




First fish - I told him that it was tradition to bite the head off. I later told him it was a relatively 'new' tradition. Started this morning.

I don't fully understand 11 year old humor but I enjoy the laughter.




I really enjoy fishing, especially with my kids.
