Offshore july 4th trip

Left alvin at 4 am, got to matagorda then headed out. As soon as we got into open water it was on. The radio and forecast said 2-3 footers.... Yea Right! These babies were anywhere from 6-7 easy. But once we made it out we got some fish and had a good time.

Leaving out of matagorda harbor. We saw slot of em along the bank. ppl that live across the water have feeders out everywhere so i guess they can pop em from their front deck.

We did have three others with us if yall r wondering why we have 12 snapper. lol
