I was working up out if seguin and stopped for lunch yesterday and I saw this picture! I love it. Nolan was my idol back when I was a kid! I would always get in trouble for backing someone off the plate by throwing at them!

I still get mad at my mom for selling a Nolan Ryan foul ball at a garage sale ... I had ticket stubs and everything that went with it ...

I am sure she gave it away for something like $ 1

In my high school days, I rolled into the old Alvin Krogers drunk off my ace. I was making a beeline to the bathroom when me and another guy bumped into each other at an isle end cap. Like the young punk I was, I pushed off the dude and kept rolling. After finishing my "business", I made my way out and saw that same dude at the checkout counter. Man, it was Nolan Ryan!!! That exact image of him whooping up on Ventura's head instantly came to mind when I saw him. I lowered my head and slid out.

Respect!!!!
