bubble barrier choc bayou

Anyone having any luck at the bubble barrier? The last two times i been out there which was at night theres good bait in the water but just little trout, maybe a flounder here and there and no reds. I remember 3-4 years ago i use to hammer the reds right in the bubbles throwing gulp. Same with the " load out rack " i call it right by the 2004 bridge, that hasnt been producing much of anything.

Youre better off fishing the n. or s. jetty. Most folks I know only put in at choc and go somewhere else

Let me put it another way.....

Gulfcoast13 and his son will soon have Chocolate picked clean in a couple of years. Mother Nature will not be able to keep up with the onslaught.

There are Fish in Chocolate I have Caught them! LOL I have even found me a couple of honey holes! & I have only been there 2x.

In August the bayou starts getting bigger reds...and it stays that way through the winter ....

Bubble wall is good to soak bait when the fishing is slow

Chocolate is full of dink trout and rat reds. Gas cost too much now to waste your time in the mudhole.

22" Red & 19" Speck out of chocolate & also caught 3 Rat Reds. Thnx But I think I'll Stay in Chocolate!
