Surf or Bay?

Looking to go wet some lines tomorrow with a buddy. Can't decide to take the boat to East Bay and drift the deeper reefs, or avoid the crowd at the launch and hit the surf. I pretty much have a free reign on what time of the day that we can go. Forecast says NNE at 9mph at sun up and SE at 7 mph late afternoon.

What do y'all think? Appreciate the feedback.

I hit the beach at Surfside at 6pm. There was a stright S wind, a bunch of seaweed and 2'-3' breakers on the beach. Green water but too much wave and seaweed to fish. Huge mats of seaweed from 2nd to 4th bars. Not sure when that NNE wind is coming but it wasn't here yet.

Rollo, Dondo what's the difference?? LOL. You're safe Bruce. Sounds like you and poor Gilbert take a beating in this forum. Sorry just now responding, on my way back from the Boat Show and my wife keeps asking me what the he'll I'm laughing at. I've spent the last hour reading everyone's post about Gilbert's new boat. Too funny.
