Can I get a surf condition update???

Looking at gtown, looks like it's starting to lay down & slick out, but can't get much read on the color/clarity. Someone please tell me it ain't chocolate milk!

...Sorry, stopped at Bucees for a six pack....

Just stopped at Beach Access Number 4 in Surfside. Surf is pretty sporty. Water is off color until well outside the breakers.

I drove on up to the KOA. Water looks a little better east of the S turns but still pretty rough. Saw some birds working hard outside the rollers in a couple of spots . Bay looks decent at the pass.

I'm launching the kayak at the KOA, I'll let you know how the late afternoon bite works out.

I don't know what you're smoking? The surf is knee to waist high and it's sandy green inshore with onshore winds.

Just got off the wall working down there water is perfect color BUT!! WAVES ARE VERY SPORTY alot of surfers I saw a potlicker catch two trout and numerous waves to the dome!!!

Yep....I took a chance and hit the surf this morning. It was beautiful green to the beach, but it was dang sporty and the seaweed was pretty bad on the west end....high tide was pulling all the old decaying seaweed off the beach, so I was cleaning crap off my hooks every second or third cast. Caught 4 or 5 keeper specs, but nothing of size. Threw em all back and headed back home at 8:45.
