Let's all take a special moment at some time today to remember the men who saved the world for us. On June 6th, 1944 Americans, British, and Canadians landed from the skies and on the beaches of Normandy, France. This was the beginning of the end for the Nazi threat to the world's freedom. Having been to the St. Laurent Cemetery above Omaha Beach, I don't have the words to describe the emotions I feel on this day and the deep gratitude I have for the men who fought and died on this particular day 65 years ago. Few experiences in my life have affected me as deeply as seeing those rows and rows of Crosses and Stars of David. God bless these men. - Sandy

Agreed.
Don't forget the other, earlier D-day. June 6, 1918.
That was the day Pvt.Doughboy walked across the wheat fields at Belleau Wood and into history.
Say a prayer for them too.West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

"All gave some but some gave all" Let's never forget those who have served our country. Freedon isn't free. They are my Heroes. I think I will remember them when I am out wading this afternoon. I got the star and stripes hanging outside right now.Bacon Bacon Bacon!!!

So many times todays and yesterdays Vet are so underappreciated!! It may sound CORNY but it really makes me shed tears of joy when I hear or see people appreciate what so many of us have given and will continue to give, so we may maintain our freedoms!!! Thanks.
