My wife and I seem to find ourselves fishing more and more. Last Saturday we were out at the north Jetty's (we walked out there) this was around 7am. Around 10am my wife reeled in a red that was 20 inches, but that was it for the day. We moved to rollover pass In the afternoon and had no luck. This weekend we went back out to the north Jetty's and my wife caught 2 flounders, still nothing for myself. We moved out to west bay after that (near west pointe) and nothing! Does anyone have any good suggestions on places to go, and what times they have seemed to be most successful? We would love reds, flounder and trout. We usually cast off a peer but don't mind wading either. Any ones help would be greatly appreciated. Happy fishing everyone!

Right now we have early morning & late evening tides you need water movement to catch fish. Most of the time it's a game of luck! I have fished when its it suppose to be Great & came home with Zero. You will have good & Bad days. Happy Fishing!!

We use Live shrimp mostly, sometimes dead if we cant get any live. Last time we used mullets.Comment

how do you determine tide movements? I know they list them on here, but is it best to go when the tide is in or out, or between times? I have seen four tides coming up in one day. May be a good time to go. I just need to find places in West Bay that are good spots. We have not fished over there much.Comment

Thanks guys! Anyone know any good spots near west bay? Also I heard Rollover Pass is a well known fishing spot in the USA period. Maybe the days we went it was just a bad day, i have not seen anyone out there catch a thing! Anyone have any luck there?Comment
