What kind of lights are you using? and How much power do they use? How long on a batter?y

Thats the funny thing. My uncle bought this fishing light that is part styrofoam. It clamps on to one of the batteries and is like a big floating flood light. It draws very little power though as I had it hooked to my engine battery and was out all night. Still had plenty of juice to start up and go back to the launch. Funny thing was the other boats in the area had those fancy green submersible lights and weren't catching a thing. My unc. paid about 7 bucks for this thing and the ghetto light works like a charm. lol

They say back in the old days, "lantern fishing" was very popular for hunting flatties, and there would be lights all over the bay when the tide was right. Very effective - and works on all kind of fish.
