Galveston Surf

Galveston surf is pretty rough and sandy. The closer you get to the pass the greener the water. The water yesterday and today looks really good around the water tower. There were birds working it really hard yesterday when the tide was going out.

Well how many fishes did ya catch there yesterday when water was good? Hope lots!!

I didn't kill them. After the topwater bight tapered off I got out around 845 with 5 good trout. Might have been able to get a few more on spoons or plastics but I was exhausted and needed to get some sleep lol..

ME? I wouldn't dream of it....I hope you hurry up and catch that first topwater fish so you will throw them more than 10 times before switching!
You hooked up with that nice 10" trout monday am! We need to get you in on one of those days when you can catch a limit on top and you will throw tops all day!

I agree, but it was nice catching that 25" red on platics. Now that I think about it, maybe I should post it?

Nice, I didn't even know the surf was fishable. Looked pretty rough.
