STAR Tourney Question

I've read all of the rules and the FAQ's and aside from all of the obvious rules I didnt see anything in there about using a guide service. I've got a couple of guided offshore trips planned for July and Aug and I was wondering if, in the event that I caught any decent fish, I could enter them in the tourney? Caught a 53 lb King year before last and it never even dawned on me to enter it.. Not sure what won that year but at least it was big enough to weigh in..

There aren't any rules about using a guide service.

Plenty of croaker soaker guide services have had clients weigh in fish.

Off topic maybe but,last august I caught a pb speck it was 29inch's.I took it and had it weighed she was post spawn and was only 5.48 lbs.I was not in the tournament .I am this year I fish as much as I can.I will no longer be concerned about a might have and could have .
