  • Mudbugs, snow crabs, scrimps, and oysters!

I was grading papers this afternoon at school and Lurefisher called and invited me to a crawfish boil. I jetted over to Alvin after grading papers and holy moly. Talk about good. I haven't had mudbugs that good in ages. I taught those boys something too. You take oysters and throw them in the boil. MMMMMMMMMMMM. Everyone seemed to like 'em. I learned something too. You take slow crabs and berl them for just a bit and they're darn good. Much better than I've ever had. Corndog and dbarham were there too, along with many other folks. Thanks a lot for the invite Deano. 'Twas a great time. - Sandy

That does sound like some goooooood eatin and I like the oyster idea! The only thing that cocerns me is there was absolutely no mention of beer, you mean you guys had a boil like that and no beer......I think not.

Hey, it's a weeknight and I had a drive home ahead of me. That means extremely limited brewskies.

That sounds like a good time. Havent had oysters in a while, might need to pull some out of the freezer for a fry pretty soon. Thanks for the idea

This thread is making me hungry.

Fixxin to fire up the pit for slow smoked pork ribs finished of in rasberry chipoltle sauce and a beer can roasting hen. Though I think I'd rather had bugs.

Oh Man! Those steaks were terrestrial perfection, though if I have my druthers, I prefer the swimmin' type of food. They are the best steaks I've ever had outside of Charlie's Steakhouse in New Orleans.
