Finally managed my first Texas Limit of trout! The wife and i picked up 14 total between cambell's bayou and drifting slicks in west bay...

Cambells is left of the Galveston Causeway coming into Galveston. It is pretty mich right between Texas City Dike and the causeway. Lots of shell in the area and good choke points for water to flow in and out after the man made barriers went up. I like to fish the transition areas right before it gets to be heavy shell. Also, when everything is just right, the birds will start working the area. Are you asking what slicks are?
