mothers day report

Took mom fishing yesterday , originally was going to run east but after we launched at the dike she didn't want to cross the bay , so we went around to the channel side chasing slicks and fishing structure caught a few trout that were really thick on popping corks , stayed till about noon then headed in and had a bbq !
All made for a pretty good day !

Main thing Sam is you where with your mother! Cherish those times dearly, before you know it she will be gone. But the Memories will last forever.

I took the wife and kids out yesterday too. Went to the North shoreline and anchored out of the wind. They caught a bunch of slimers and about 10 or 12 croaker on Sandy's favorite bait -- dead shrimp. Fried the croaker up for the kids for dinner. I spent the whole time baiting hooks and taking off fish. Momma was happy so I guess thats what counts.
