Surf this morning in pirates beach

Fished pirates beach this morning from about 7:00-8:30
Waves were pretty brutal, but the water was fishable
Managed 4 trout up to 21" before I got tired of jumping every 30 seconds.
All caught and missed fish were on a gold and black rapala broken back.
Found bait in a couple spots that had fish. Looks like Tuesday and Wednesday might be good.
Anybody else give it a go today?

I am probably going to shoot for Wed am myself.....shows 1' @ 6sec......little bumpy but not bad. I wanna know what the seaweed is like first though. Looking forward to chunkin some tops in the surf!
