I have had boats, in a few different states. I think the best one was the 4 x 8 Bass hunter I had up in Ohio.Originally posted by corndog View PostBe careful getting a boat it can change your life forever! Nothing better than pushing that throttle down pre dawn and having the wind blow in your face with friends or family. Heck even alone it is a great feeling watching that sunrise and being on your spot. The catching is fun but the trip is what makes it even better. You learn something new out there every day. Bad news is you will never fish it all. Best thing I ever did was buy my boat!!!
I could throw that sucker in my truck and be on the water in nothing flat. Early AM, mist on the water, deer
on the far bank watching me, and zero sounds of civilization. Bass jumping, song birds and quite flat water.
Throw out a top water, and the water explodes when a 5 pounder comes up for what he thinks is breakfast.
Nothing like it on the planet, no matter where one is, or what your fishing for.
