Saw this pic on my uncles FB page. I think it went just over 13lbs. He caught it in LLM many years ago. He is always asking me about fishing and engouraging me to keep at it. All in the hopes I can get one of those bad boys one day!!!

Wow!!! Thanks for sharing. Is/was your uncle as hardcore as you on the water?

Little story here: While cutting my yard last week, a small piece of bark flew out from under my lawn mower and hit my neighbor's truck. A few days later, I heard him in his garage and I went to give him the bad news and offer up a repair. He was cool about it and we started talking about fishing. He whipped out his smart phone and showed me a pic of a coworker holding a sweet mid-20s speck caught out of POC. I said "Wow" and the said, "now scroll the picture over". I started scrolling and a huge tail came in to view, then an obvious speckled trout body, then a fat gut like mine, followed by a big ole' silver head. That sucker filled the screen and his other coworker was holding a speck that went 33" on the measuring board. I don't remember if he told me the weight. I was in awe.

I'll ask him how long it was. Looks like 6-8 " just to get from his mouth to gills. All I know its a pretty fish. I think it was the late seventies

Great pic, thanks for posting. Reminds me of when I was a kid we never had shirts or shoes on.
