If a group of four split up and go 2-300 yards in each direction you are taking up over a 1/4 mile of shoreline. As long as they don't drive in and anchor right on top of me or wade so close our lines are crossing when we cast I try not to let it bother me. Right or wrong, as Swells mentioned there are no laws pertaining to this and some people are going to be nicer than others. Just part of fishing a crowded bay system, I wouldn't sweat it.

interesting. It wasn't a crowded bay system Wednesday. There was plenty of water they could've fished, much better options in fact due to them having a boat as us yaks, yet they anchored up and waded right toward us. Reminds me of duck hunting public land only to have some jack leg role up 10 minutes to legal and set decoys 50 yds away. Respect in this society declines daily.

Heck, in La. if you're catching fish, you INVITE other boats over. You can be pretty sure there that people will creep up slowly and ask where you want them, instead of running right through the fish. I tried that here and people thought I was CRAZY. I guess here there's just not enough to go around.
Yep You bet.....i dont like any other mothperfvvckers watching me.

LOL! My hometown would like to thank y'all for housing their prisoners. I'll shut up about the fishin' at home if y'all want me to.

The funny thing is, We are new to the area and haven't really got a clue what were doing, but when we do get lucky at one of our two spots, it seems as if someone notices and pulls into the area. Following us around is like following Larry the Cable Guy to by a new suite... We fish hard and try to find new spots, and I'm sure over time time we will, but for now we just try to follow the birds. I'm guessing as the season goes on this is going to get much more intense so we will have to be more creative to try to get away from it all.

Now see mpepperl, if you were in Louisiana you would have stood up in the bote and waved and invited them over...Dont let them feel like they are coming over uninvited.
